Once You Have Your Learner’s License
When you get your learner’s license, you are only permitted to drive during daylight hours for the first three months, and then until 10pm after that. When you drive, it is required that you always have a licensed adult over the age of 21 present, and they must be sitting in the front passenger seat.
In order to get your intermediate driver’s license, you need to have your learner’s license for a year (with no traffic violations), be 16 years old, and have driven a total of 50 hours, 10 of which need to be at night. Your parent or guardian must sign your driving log as proof that you completed your hours.
